Patricia Soe Biography
Patricia Soe is a Liberian who grew up in Ghana as a result of the Liberian civil war. She grew up learning how to cook many different types of west African dishes. She immigrated to the U.S. in 2005 where she earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from North Hennepin Community College in 2013. Though an American citizen now, Patricia never lost her sense of belonging as it pertains to the African culture and cuisine. As a result of her passion for African cuisine, she decided to enroll in culinary school, where she is pursuing an Associates Degree in culinary arts, in hopes of becoming a chef and broadening her knowledge of the culinary field. Patricia is passionate about revolutionizing African cuisine and showcasing it on an international level. She is currently a first year student at the Saint Paul Community and Technical College. Patricia decided to become a chef to pursue her humanitarian goals and to share her passion for innovative African cuisine with the world.
